While it is the tales of love and courage that rule the cinematic landscape, it is no stranger to the portrayal of legendary friendships. Dharam Veer is one such story that brings to the silver screen the ornate friendship between Dharam ( Rajat Tokas) and Veer (Vikrant Massey). They hail from Aryanagar, a kingdom divided into the Aryavarts (the royalty) and the Shramiks (the working class). While Veer is the heir to the throne, Dharam is the prophesied savior of the oppressed Shramiks. However, both of them grow up as cousins and the royal family is not aware of Dharam’s true identity. Their friendship is tested by the treachery of their uncle Jaivardhan, who wants them to kill each other so that his son Agni ascends the throne.
